The duo purported to have connections within the National Testing Agency (NTA) and promised to manipulate NEET scores in exchange for a staggering ₹87.5–90 lakh per candidate .

The CBI recovered strong evidence from their phones and digital communications, including WhatsApp logs and financial trails spanning hawala transactions . While investigators confirmed no NTA involvement, the case sheds light on the dark underbelly of high-stakes exam rackets .
