India Urges Pakistan to End PoK Rights Abuses!

On October 25, 2025, India issued a strong statement urging Pakistan to halt human rights violations in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The Indian government emphasized that PoK is an integral part of India and reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to the region. This call comes amid ongoing unrest in PoK, where civilians have reportedly faced oppression and systemic exploitation by Pakistani authorities.

India's Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) condemned the actions of Pakistani forces in PoK, describing them as a natural consequence of Pakistan's oppressive approach and systemic plundering of resources from these territories. The MEA spokesperson urged the international community to hold Pakistan accountable for its human rights violations in PoK.

The statement reflects India's long-standing position that PoK is an integral part of its sovereign territory. India has consistently called for the return of PoK and has rejected any discussions with Pakistan that do not include this objective.

The call for an end to human rights abuses in PoK underscores India's commitment to the welfare of the people in the region and its determination to uphold its territorial integrity.
