Delhi Metro has once again proved why it is called the lifeline of the capital city. A passenger’s recent travel experience has gone viral, showcasing the speed and efficiency of the system.
The passenger’s flight from Mumbai landed at 2:14 PM. Within 10 minutes, they collected their baggage and by 2:30 PM, they were at the Airport Metro platform. Just 24 minutes later, they reached New Delhi Railway Station (NDLS). By 3:10 PM, they were already seated inside their train coach. The entire journey from airport to railway station took less than one hour—an achievement that stunned many.
The post titled “Delhi Metro is just built differently” highlighted how seamless and time-saving the Airport Express Line has become. This rapid service not only provides quick connectivity between Indira Gandhi International Airport and NDLS but also ensures comfort and punctuality for travelers.
The Orange Line, also known as the Airport Express Line, is a major boost for urban transport. It saves valuable travel time, reduces road congestion, and helps cut down air pollution—making it a model for what public transport should look like in every Indian city.
