His work, rooted in the landscapes and traditions of Goa, offers viewers a nostalgic journey through the region's rich tapestry.

Fernandes' artistic journey is characterized by a commitment to portraying Goa's unique identity. His paintings often feature familiar scenes—lush landscapes, historic architecture, and everyday life—that resonate with both locals and admirers of Goan culture. By focusing on these elements, Fernandes aims to preserve the memories and stories that define the region.

In addition to his individual work, Fernandes is part of the "Aggressive Artists" group, a collective of six artists including Atharva Mandrekar, Abhijit Parsekar, Rohit Pagi, Ashish Phaldesai, and Luke Luis. All members are alumni of the Goa College of Art, Panjim, and their collaborative efforts showcase a range of styles and themes that reflect their shared experiences and artistic visions.

Fernandes' dedication to his craft and his homeland is evident in his detailed and emotive artwork. Through his paintings, he invites viewers to experience Goa's beauty and heritage, ensuring that its stories continue to be told and cherished.
