A viral LinkedIn job posting promising multiple roles at Nestlé India turned out to be a complete sham- and the company's Chairman and MD, Suresh Narayanan, wasted no time in calling it out. Shared by Delhi-based recruiter Pooja Dayal, the post advertised virtual interviews for positions like HR Business Partner, IT Solutions Architect, and Marketing Manager, with tempting salaries between Rs 5-10 LPA and flexible work options (WFH, WFO, remote).
However, Narayanan swiftly debunked it, stating, "Completely fake, totally untrue, and grossly misleading." He urged job seekers to stay vigilant against such fraudulent postings. Following his statement, Nestlé India issued an official LinkedIn advisory, clarifying that it only hires "either directly or through duly authorised reputed recruitment agencies" that never charge candidates.
The company also warned aspirants to "be cautious as Nestlé India does not authorise any recruitment agency to directly issue 'Offer Letter' for employment." With this, Nestlé India has put scammers on notice while saving job seekers from falling for yet another online hoax.
