Silent Killer: How pollution is breaking your heart!

Pollution is not just bad for your lungs, it can also harm your heart. Doctors warn that breathing dirty air every day can make your heart weak and increase the risk of heart attacks and strokes.

Tiny dust particles and harmful gases from cars, factories, and smoke can enter your blood and cause damage.

When pollution enters the body, it makes the blood thicker, increases blood pressure, and creates blockages in the arteries. This makes the heart work harder, leading to problems like irregular heartbeats and even heart failure.

Even young and healthy people are at risk because the damage happens slowly over time.

Doctors suggest simple ways to protect your heart from pollution. Wearing a mask, using an air purifier at home, and avoiding outdoor activities when pollution levels are high can help.

But personal care is not enough. Governments must take action to reduce pollution by using cleaner energy and stricter rules for industries.

Your heart beats thousands of times a day to keep you alive. Don’t let pollution make it weak. Stay aware, take precautions, and support efforts to make the air cleaner.
