A harrowing eyewitness account has emerged from Asavari Jagdale, a 26-year-old survivor of the brutal Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives. On vacation with her family in Kashmir's Baisaran Valley, Asavari witnessed terrorists storm their tent and target her father, Santosh Jagdale, after he failed to recite an Islamic verse. The attackers reportedly cursed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and accused the group of supporting him before firing three bullets into Santosh- in the head, behind the ear, and back.

"They spared the women, but not the men," said a shaken Asavari, who watched her uncle also be gunned down. The group, hiding in fear inside a tourist tent, mistook the sounds of gunfire for a clash between terrorists and security forces until the killers came face-to-face. As the Jagdales await word on the fate of their loved ones, the attack has drawn nationwide outrage and global condemnation.
