Lavji Daliya, popularly known as Lavji Badshah, has become the first person to bring a Tesla Cybertruck to India. Lavji bought the Foundation Series Cybertruck, a special limited-production model from Tesla.
According to his son Piyush, it is currently the only Cybertruck in India. The vehicle, priced at around ₹60 lakh, was booked six months ago at a Tesla showroom in Texas, USA. After delivery, it was registered in Dubai and then shipped to Surat by sea.
The Cybertruck has 'Gopin', the family business name, printed on it. Piyush shared that the car takes six hours to fully charge and can travel up to 550 kilometers on one charge.
Lavji said the family is currently driving it within Surat, where it draws huge crowds.
The Cybertruck's body is made of stainless steel, with tough tyres suited for rough roads.
Lavji Badshah is a well-known realtor, diamond merchant, and power loom owner from Surat, Gujarat.
He is also famous for his social work and is the founder of the Gopin Group, which focuses on real estate, charity, and investments.
