Criminal Justice 4 Drops Only 3 Episodes— Fans Are Furious!

Criminal Justice: A Family Matter premiered on JioHotstar on May 29, marking the return of Pankaj Tripathi as the beloved advocate Madhav Mishra. While fans were excited to dive into the gripping legal drama, many expressed disappointment as only three episodes titled A Birthday to Remember, Buried Secrets, and Quid Pro Quo were released. The series will follow a weekly drop model, with new episodes airing every Thursday.

Social media reactions poured in, with fans calling the release strategy “torturous” and “a crime against binge-watchers.” Critics, however, praised the season’s intense screenplay, emotional depth, and realistic courtroom drama, especially commending Tripathi, Swastika Mukherjee, and Purab Kohli for standout performances.

Directed by Rohan Sippy and produced by Applause Entertainment with BBC Studios India, the season explores a teen murder mystery entangled in juvenile justice and family turmoil.

Fans remain hooked, but are pleading for a faster release schedule.
