This course is designed to train women birders to review and verify bird data, ensuring India’s bird observations are accurate and reliable. Over five Sundays, participants will gain hands-on experience, learn how eBird filters work, and practice reviewing checklists — all under the guidance of experienced women editors from across India.

This course is open to women 18+ who have uploaded at least 100 eBird checklists, are comfortable using a laptop/desktop, and are eager to learn and contribute. Women from Himalayan and Northeastern states are especially encouraged to apply!

After the course, participants will spend around 2 hours per week reviewing bird records, helping protect India’s birds while gaining valuable citizen science skills.
