The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has sounded a yellow alert for Delhi on Monday, warning that the city is likely to experience light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning, along with gusty winds blowing at 30–40 km/h, and occasional stronger gusts up to 50 km/h. 

Under a yellow alert, residents are advised to “be aware” and take precautions during outdoor movement, especially in open areas or near tall structures. 

The weather conditions may cause localized waterlogging, reduced visibility, and disruptions in traffic flow. 
Authorities recommend avoiding parking vehicles under trees, securing loose objects, and minimizing travel during intense rain or wind spells.
Meanwhile, temperature relief is expected, as cloudy skies and showers could lead to a slight dip in daytime highs.
