57 countries now visa-free for Indians - is your dream destination on the list?

According to the latest Henley Passport Index 2025, Indian citizens can now travel to 57 countries without a pre-approved visa. This includes visa-free, visa-on-arrival, and Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) access.

While India’s global passport ranking has slipped slightly to 85th, it still represents growing international acceptance and mobility for Indian travellers. Popular destinations like Thailand, Indonesia, Mauritius, Seychelles, Sri Lanka, and Bhutan continue to attract Indian tourists, while countries like Serbia, Kenya, and Qatar have recently relaxed their entry rules.

Experts say this is a huge boost for travel, trade, and tourism, especially for young Indians exploring workations, study abroad, or digital nomad lifestyles.

So, even if your passport rank isn’t top-tier, your travel dreams certainly can be!
