7 Dead as Mini-Bus Overturns in Punjab After Collision!

A devastating accident occurred near Dasuya in Punjab’s Hoshiarpur district on Tuesday morning, resulting in the death of seven individuals and injuries to several others. The tragedy unfolded when a mini-bus en route from Pathankot to Jalandhar collided head-on with a car coming from the opposite direction.

Following the impact, the mini-bus lost control and overturned, leading to fatalities on the spot. Local authorities rushed to the scene, and injured passengers were promptly taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. The deceased include passengers from both vehicles involved.

Eyewitnesses report that the collision occurred due to high speed and poor road visibility. Police officials are currently investigating the exact cause of the accident. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem, and efforts are being made to contact the families of the victims.

This tragic event once again raises concerns about road safety and the urgent need for stricter enforcement of traffic rules on highways and rural roads.
