A Mother, A Warrior: Why This Constable Carried Her Baby to Work

A video of RPSF Constable Reena performing her duty while carrying her one-year-old baby at New Delhi Railway Station has gone viral. The clip, shared by the RPF on X, shows her skillfully managing passengers with a baton in one hand and her child sleeping on her chest.

Reena was originally on leave but was called back after a tragic stampede at the station claimed 18 lives. With her CRPF constable husband stationed in Jammu and Kashmir and no in-laws alive, she had no option but to bring her child to work.

“It's a normal routine for me. I just make sure the baby doesn't get hurt,” Reena shared, revealing she carries homemade porridge, milk, and nappies for her child while on duty.

Her story is a testament to the resilience of countless mothers who balance responsibility with unwavering commitment. Reena's courage continues to inspire, proving that sometimes, a warrior's armor is the love of a mother.
