Amazon India reveals the first look of the most awaited- OnePlus 13R

In a surprising revelation, Amazon India has unveiled a key detail about the highly anticipated OnePlus 13R smartphone. The e-commerce giant's landing page for the OnePlus 13 series launch event, scheduled for January 7, 2025, confirms that the OnePlus 13R will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. This aligns with expectations, as its predecessor, the OnePlus 12R, came equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

OnePlus had earlier teased the 13R as a “pocket powerhouse” without disclosing specific hardware details. Alongside the processor, Amazon's page hints at additional features, including a substantial 6,000mAh battery and a suite of AI-powered tools for photo editing and productivity enhancements.

Design-wise, the OnePlus 13R will come in two eye-catching finishes: Nebula Noir and Astral Trail. The design reflects a “star trails” aesthetic, featuring Corning Gorilla Glass 7i on both sides and a sturdy metal frame. At 8mm thick, the device also houses a triple-camera setup, promising versatility for photography enthusiasts.

While most details remain under wraps, more insights may emerge on December 26, 2024, when OnePlus is set to launch its Ace 5 series in China—expected to share similarities with the 13R.

The OnePlus 13R’s confirmed specs, coupled with its sleek design and lightweight operating system, have already generated excitement. As the January 7 launch approaches, this accidental leak by Amazon only heightens anticipation for what promises to be a powerhouse device.
