Looking for a healthy dessert that’s both refreshing and tasty? Try the Jamun Chia Seed Pudding! This easy, no-cook recipe blends the nutritional power of chia seeds with the sweet and tangy flavor of jamun (Indian black plum). Packed with antioxidants, fiber, and protein, it’s perfect for a guilt-free summer indulgence.
To make it, mix 3 tablespoons of chia seeds with 1 cup of milk (dairy or plant-based) and a teaspoon of honey or maple syrup. Stir well and refrigerate for 4–6 hours or overnight until it thickens. Meanwhile, de-seed and blend 8–10 jamuns into a smooth puree, adding a little honey if needed.
Once the chia pudding is set, layer it with the jamun puree in a glass or swirl them for a marbled effect. Top with nuts or seeds for added crunch. This colorful dessert is nutritious, cooling, and perfect for beating the heat!
