A 23-year-old youth in Bengaluru was abducted and brutally beaten by a group of men who accused him of sending an obscene text message to a woman. The incident occurred in the Kamakshipalya area, where the attackers forcibly took the youth from his house and assaulted him, warning him of consequences similar to those in the Darshan case.

According to reports, the group confronted the young man after learning about the alleged message. They dragged him into a vehicle, took him to an isolated spot, and beat him with sticks. During the assault, they reportedly referenced the ongoing high-profile Darshan case, threatening him against further misconduct.

Police have arrested two of the accused and are on the lookout for others involved. A case has been registered under multiple sections, including criminal intimidation and wrongful confinement. The youth sustained minor injuries and was discharged after receiving medical treatment.

The incident has sparked discussions around vigilantism and the dangers of people taking the law into their own hands, especially in the wake of high-profile cases influencing public reactions.
