Students of Bennett University have launched a protest demanding the cancellation of offline exams and a shift to online mode.
The protest gained momentum as many students, particularly those from border states, voiced concerns over the ongoing conflict impacting their regions.
With war-like conditions back home, several students are experiencing severe mental stress, fearing for the safety of their families.
Protesters argue that forcing students to appear for in-person exams under such distressing circumstances is both unfair and insensitive. "Our focus is divided; we can't concentrate on exams when our families are in danger," said a protesting student.
Students are urging the university administration to prioritize mental health and safety by allowing online examinations until the situation stabilizes.
The administration is yet to release an official statement.
