However, the ICAI defended its decision, stating that the exam schedule was announced well in advance, providing ample time for candidates to prepare. ICAI emphasized that altering the timetable now would disrupt the logistical arrangements already in place and negatively impact other candidates who had prepared according to the announced dates.
After reviewing both sides, the Delhi High Court ruled in favor of ICAI, highlighting the importance of adhering to a professional course’s rigorous standards and respecting established timelines.
