Delhi Metro revises Service Timings for Diwali 2025!

In a festive-season update, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced special timing changes for the Diwali period. On October 19 (Choti Diwali) and October 20, metro services on all lines will commence earlier than usual, beginning at 6 a.m. to accommodate the increased passenger traffic and early-morning travel.

Additionally, the DMRC has stated that while services will run throughout the day on the regular schedule, the last trains from terminal stations across all lines - including the Airport Express line - will depart earlier than usual on Diwali night to ensure smooth operations and safety.

Commuters are advised to check the latest timetables via the DMRC website or its official social-media handles before beginning their journeys. This adjustment is part of the Metro’s broader effort to manage crowding, traffic surges, and festival-related transit pressure during one of Delhi’s busiest travel periods.
