In the wake of India's precision strikes under Operation Sindoor, Pakistan has launched a major global diplomatic outreach to counter New Delhi’s narrative. On Monday, Pakistan announced two high-level delegations aimed at seeking international support and pushing for dialogue over confrontation.
Led by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, one delegation will visit New York, Washington DC, London and Brussels starting June 2. The second team, headed by Syed Tariq Fatemi, will travel to Moscow. These delegations will engage with international organizations, governments, media, and diaspora to present Pakistan’s version of events following the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack and subsequent Indian retaliation.
While India dispatched 33 teams to expose Pakistan’s terror links globally, Pakistan now seeks to highlight “the need for dialogue and revival of the Indus Waters Treaty” as a diplomatic counter. With tensions still simmering, this high-stakes diplomatic race could shape future regional stability.
