At an event in Panama, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor delivered a firm warning to Pakistan over terrorism, stating that India will respond to any future terror attack and will not "turn the other cheek." Speaking during Operation Sindoor, Tharoor stressed that the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack aimed to harm India and disrupt Kashmir’s booming economy.

He cited Mahatma Gandhi’s principle of living without fear, emphasizing India’s right to defend its people and land. Tharoor also presented images of Pakistani army officials attending terrorist funerals, exposing Pakistan’s duplicity in claiming innocence.

During meetings with Panama’s leadership, the Indian delegation, including members from various parties, reinforced India’s zero-tolerance stance on terrorism.

Tharoor concluded with a powerful message: “Even the land of Gandhi will not stay silent. We will respond.”
