Naval Kishore, a 30-year-old from Agra, turned his dream into reality with the help of Flipkart. In 2019, he started his own artificial leather footwear business, Dayal Traders, inspired by a relative already selling online.
Before that, Naval worked as an employee but he had big dreams.
When he launched his store on Flipkart, he was only selling 10-15 pairs of shoes a day. But with Flipkart's seller support and guidance, his business quickly grew.
Now, he receives over 500 orders daily and even reaches 1,000 orders during peak seasons!
Naval didn't come from a business family his father worked in government service. But Flipkart's Samarth program gave him the tools, training, and encouragement to grow. Their support helped him build a strong team of 15 people and scale his business across India.
Participating in Crafted by Bharat gave him even more visibility. "Flipkart made my dream come true," he says. Thanks to their help, Naval is not just selling shoes, he’s building a future.
