India, France align on peace efforts in Ukraine Conflict!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron spoke over the phone, aligning on renewed efforts to end the Ukraine conflict early amid mounting U.S. diplomatic initiatives. The call underscored both nations' commitment to a peaceful resolution and global stability.
During their wide-ranging discussion, the leaders positively evaluated bilateral cooperation across sectors such as trade, defense, civil nuclear energy, technology, and space. The conversation also reaffirmed the importance of the India–France Strategic Partnership - guided by frameworks like the Horizon 2047 roadmap, the Indo-Pacific roadmap, and the Defence Industrial Roadmap.
Macron briefed Modi on outcomes from recent diplomatic engagements with European and U.S. leaders concerning Ukraine, while Modi reiterated India’s policy of supporting a peaceful resolution and early restoration of peace and stability.
Moreover, Macron accepted Modi’s invitation to the upcoming AI Impact Summit in India in 2026, symbolizing shared engagement in innovation. Both leaders agreed to remain closely connected on regional and global developments moving forward.
