Want to work in Germany without a traditional job? The German Freelance Visa is your golden ticket! For just ₹7,500, this visa allows Indian citizens and other non-EU residents to live and work independently in Germany for one year-extendable up to three years.
Known as the Freiberufler Visa, it’s designed for self-employed professionals such as artists, engineers, journalists, teachers, architects, and more. To be eligible, you’ll need a valid passport, proof of freelance work, financial resources (about ₹1.27 lakhs per month), health insurance, and a detailed work plan.
How to apply?
Submit a National D Visa application from India, book an appointment with the German Embassy, provide documents, and register in Germany within two weeks of arrival. After that, apply for your freelance residence permit.
With the visa, you can build your global career, enjoy Europe’s lifestyle, and even apply for permanent residency after 5 years.
