Muskan Rastogi and Sahil Shukla, the prime accused in the brutal murder of Saurabh Rajput, are facing extreme drug withdrawal symptoms in Meerut District Jail. The duo, arrested for stabbing and dismembering Saurabh before hiding his remains in a cement-filled drum, are now refusing food and demanding narcotics like marijuana and morphine.

Sources reveal that both Muskan and Sahil were regular users of injectable drugs, leading to severe withdrawal effects after their arrest. Muskan's health deteriorated on the first night in jail, requiring urgent medical attention, while Sahil displayed aggressive behavior, demanding drugs.

The jail's de-addiction centre has put them under treatment, closely monitoring their withdrawal symptoms. Experts say it could take at least ten days for them to regain stability. Their condition raises serious concerns about drug addiction among criminals and the challenges of rehabilitation within the prison system.
