Mukesh Ambani has taken a new step into the future by launching Reliance Intelligence Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance Industries. The company received approval from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs on September 9, just weeks after Ambani first announced the plan at Reliance’s Annual General Meeting.
The goal? To make India a hub for Artificial Intelligence. Reliance Intelligence will build gigawatt-scale AI data centers across the country, starting with Jamnagar in Gujarat. These centers will run on green energy and will support large-scale AI training and usage.
The company has set out four big missions:
-
Build world-class AI infrastructure.
-
Promote global AI partnerships.
-
Create AI services tailored for India.
-
Develop Indian talent in AI.
Ambani’s children are also playing key roles in shaping Reliance’s future. At the AGM, Akash and Isha presented business plans for telecom and retail, while Anant made his first major business presentation after joining the board earlier this year.
With Reliance’s scale and vision, Reliance Intelligence could play a defining role in shaping India’s AI revolution.
