Samantha’s 'Subham' wins hearts, fans say it’s a must-watch

Released on May 9, 2025, Subham is a Telugu-language horror-comedy directed by Praveen Kandregula and penned by Vasanth Mariganti. The film features a cast of newcomers, including Harshith Reddy, Gavireddy Srinivas, Charan Peri, Shriya Kontham, Shravani Lakshmi, Shalini Kondepudi, and Vamshidhar Goud. Samantha Ruth Prabhu makes a special cameo appearance as Maata.

The storyline revolves around a newly married couple, where the bride exhibits an unusual obsession with television, leading to comedic and eerie situations. The film's unique blend of humor and horror has been praised for its fresh narrative and engaging performances.

Subham is produced under Samantha's banner, Tralala Moving Pictures, in collaboration with Kanakavalli Talkies. The film's music is composed by Shor Police, with the background score by Vivek Sagar.
