Weight loss isn't just about working out - it's about what and how much you eat. Health coach Lea Dombrowski warns that eating in a calorie surplus can stall your progress, no matter how intense your workouts are. If you're feeling bloated, sluggish, or craving naps after meals, your body might be overwhelmed. Constant bloating and a heavy stomach indicate your digestive system is overworked.

 

Another red flag? Food comas. If you feel the need to nap after eating, you're probably consuming more energy than needed. One major mistake people make is eating past fullness - just because food is there, not because they're hungry.

 

Listening to your hunger cues and watching portion sizes is key. As Lea says, "Nutrition is 80% of the battle." Stay mindful, eat smart, and give your weight loss journey the edge it deserves.
