This teen quit college and made ₹50,000 in 3 days!

A 22-year-old Jhansi student, Jalaj Verma, chose a bold path: skipping college to earn and learn in Bengaluru. Living on office floors and surviving on instant meals, he turned struggles into opportunities.

After selling his first startup “Osme”, Jalaj teamed up with three childhood friends to launch HelloCloud in September 2025. In just three days, the brand made ₹50,000 in sales-without any advertising!

HelloCloud’s debut products:

  • Face serum for oily/combination skin (niacinamide, zinc PCA, glycolic acid)

  • Face serum for dry/normal skin (niacinamide, lactic acid, oat extract, allantoin)
Price: ₹999 each (launch offer: 20% off)

Targeting 18–26-year-olds, HelloCloud promises: “No clutter. No false claims. Just clarity, balance, and calm.” The 12-member young team believes enthusiasm outweighs formal qualifications.

Future plans: Evolve from a D2C skincare brand to a skin-tech company, potentially launching AI-powered skin-analysis clinics and becoming a niche version of Amazon for skincare.

The takeaway: From college dropout to serial entrepreneur, Jalaj is redefining skincare for India’s youth-a journey full of grit, vision, and bold choices.
