The latest Henley Passport Index 2025 has revealed the world’s strongest passports—and some results are truly surprising! Leading the list is Singapore, with a visa-free score of 193. That means Singapore passport holders can travel to 193 countries without a visa.
Coming in second are Japan and South Korea, allowing visa-free travel to 190 countries. Several European nations like Finland, Denmark, Germany, France, Italy, Ireland, and Spain share the third spot, with access to 189 countries. Sweden, Austria, Portugal, Belgium, Norway, Luxembourg, and Netherlands rank fourth, while Switzerland, New Zealand, and Greece hold the fifth spot. The UK ranks sixth, and countries like Australia, Canada, UAE, and Iceland complete the top 10.
India, despite growing global influence, is ranked 76th, giving access to just 58 countries. China ranks 58th, and Pakistan lags at 95th. Surprisingly, even the US, one of the largest economies, is only 10th. These rankings show how passport strength can impact global travel, opportunities, and convenience.
