Trump Says U.S. has "Lost India, Russia to Deepest, Darkest China!"

In a striking social media post on Truth Social, U.S. President Donald Trump suggested that America risks losing strategic ties with both India and Russia, writing: “Looks like we’ve lost India and Russia to deepest, darkest, China. May they have a long and prosperous future together!”.

This comment arrives amid growing diplomatic warmth among India, Russia, and China, evidenced recently at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit in Beijing where Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Vladimir Putin were seen in notably friendly interactions with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Trump’s remark reflects his frustration over shifting geopolitical alignments and perhaps anxiety over diminishing U.S. influence in favor of China's expanding regional role. While his tone appeared sarcastic, the underlying message highlights concern over international relationships evolving without significant U.S. involvement.
