The RK Film Festival in Mumbai, celebrating Raj Kapoor's 100th birth anniversary, became a star-studded affair, featuring legendary actors and emerging talents. Rekha, the iconic actress, shared a tender moment with Agastya Nanda, grandson of Amitabh Bachchan and great-grandson of Raj Kapoor. A viral video captured Rekha warmly embracing Agastya, gently holding his face, and seemingly paying him a heartfelt compliment. Agastya, touched by the gesture, responded with a respectful bow and a traditional namaste, showcasing his admiration for the legendary actress.

The event also witnessed Rekha getting emotional as she gazed at a poster of Raj Kapoor, a poignant reminder of her connections to Bollywood’s golden era. Agastya attended the celebration alongside his mother, Shweta Bachchan, and sister, Navya Naveli Nanda, both of whom share ties to the Kapoor lineage through their grandmother, Ritu Nanda, Raj Kapoor’s daughter.

Organized by PVR INOX Limited and the Film Heritage Foundation, the three-day RK Film Festival pays tribute to Raj Kapoor’s cinematic brilliance by showcasing ten of his timeless films, including Aag, Awaara, Shree 420, and Mera Naam Joker. The festival spans 40 cities, reviving Kapoor's unparalleled contributions to Indian cinema.

The Kapoor family, including Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Saif Ali Khan, came together to celebrate the occasion and pose for an iconic family photograph. Prominent personalities such as Mahesh Bhatt, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and Vicky Kaushal added to the grandeur of the evening, making it a memorable homage to the cinematic legend.
