“Early to bed, early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise” haven’t we all grown up listening to this old saying? But here’s the major question, is it true though?

Our mothers have always been telling us to sleep early and do all the work in the day and sleep peacefully at night, we might have followed it when we were kids but now? College students would hard relate to it!

Since adulting is getting hold onto us really bad, sleeping late can actually be beneficial for you! Yes, being a night owl has its own perks. Want to know how? Keep reading!

A study at the University of Madrid found that night owls scored higher on intelligence tests compared to morning people, suggesting they may have an edge in inductive reasoning. Not just mental benefits but physical too! research from the University of Alberta indicates that night owls experience increased leg strength at night, making them better suited for evening workouts.

Remember when you get the most awesome comebacks specially at night? It’s the creative thinking kicking in. A study from Milan shows, people who sleep late at night outperformed early birds in generating original ideas.

Many successful individuals, like Winston Churchill and Barack Obama, have embraced their night owl tendencies, often attributing their success to their unique schedules. People who pull off all-nighters often require less sleep to function effectively throughout the day, allowing them to remain productive longer with adaptability to varying work hours.

Being a pro at meeting the deadlines is not a child’s play but the night dwellers have got it covered!

Exercising later in the day allows night owls to avoid morning rushes and perform at their best when they’re most awake.

If you identify as a nocturnal individual, embrace it! Your unique sleep pattern can offer various advantages that align with your natural rhythms. Listen to your body and work with your preferences rather than against them; after all, not everyone is meant to rise with the sun.
