Mumbai-based YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, popular for his channel "BeerBiceps," has found himself at the center of a legal storm after controversial remarks made on YouTube's "India's Got Latent" show. The Mumbai Police revealed on Friday that Allahbadia is currently unreachable, with his phone switched off and his residence locked. Despite repeated attempts, they have also failed to contact his lawyer.

Earlier in the day, Allahbadia was summoned to the Khar Police station for questioning regarding the obscene comments. His failure to appear has only intensified the investigation. In a bid to avoid arrest, Allahbadia filed a plea in the Supreme Court, requesting that all FIRs filed against him across India be clubbed together and seeking anticipatory bail in light of a summons from the Guwahati Police. However, the top court declined to entertain his plea, emphasizing that the matter would be addressed in due course.

The Assam Police have filed an FIR against Allahbadia and four others, accusing them of promoting obscenity and engaging in vulgar discussions on the now-deleted YouTube show. The fallout has been swift, with Allahbadia's YouTube channels suffering a massive loss in subscribers—nearly 90,000 in just three days. The controversy has sparked widespread condemnation, and authorities, including the Mumbai Police, Assam Police, and Maharashtra Cyber Cell, have launched investigations into the incident.

As the case unfolds, Allahbadia's legal battle appears far from over, with mounting pressure from both law enforcement and public opinion.
