2025's Top 10 most competitive Economies revealed!

The International Institute for Management Development (IMD) released its 2025 World Competitiveness Ranking (WCR), revealing Switzerland as the most competitive economy globally with a perfect score of 100. Close on its heels are Singapore (99.44) and Hong Kong (99.22), followed by Denmark (97.51), the UAE (96.09), Taiwan (93.71), Ireland (91.31), Sweden (90.20), Qatar (89.93), and the Netherlands (89.75).

The rankings assess countries based on four dimensions: economic performance, government efficiency, business efficiency, and infrastructure.

Notably, India slipped two places to 41st among 69 economies, lagging particularly in infrastructure (51st) and economic performance (27th), while maintaining scores in government and business efficiency at 45th and 25th respectively .

Canada, Germany, and Luxembourg emerged as the most improved within the top 20, while new entrants to the ranking include Kenya, Namibia, and Oman.
