Television actor Dipika Kakar has been diagnosed with a tennis ball sized tumour in the left lobe of her liver. Her husband, actor Shoaib Ibrahim, shared the emotional update through a vlog titled Need Your Prayers. He revealed that Dipika began experiencing severe abdominal pain, initially mistaken for acidity. However, after blood tests and a CT scan, doctors confirmed the presence of a liver tumour.

Dipika was hospitalised immediately and is currently awaiting results to determine if the tumour is cancerous. Surgery has been scheduled to remove the mass. Shoaib, visibly emotional, expressed concern over their young son Ruhaan, who is deeply attached to his mother.

He urged fans and even critics to pray for her recovery. The couple, married since 2018, are navigating this health scare together with strength and hope.
