Four Indian MBA programs shine globally in rankings!

In the 2025 LinkedIn Top MBA Programs ranking, four Indian business schools have earned spots among the global top 20, underscoring their growing international stature. The Indian School of Business (ISB) stands out at #5, placing ahead of many longstanding global elite programs. New entries from India include IIM-Calcutta at #16 and IIM-Bangalore at #20, while IIM-Ahmedabad climbs to #17, improving its position from the previous year.

The ranking measures schools based on how well graduates fare in the long run: job placements, career progression into senior roles, strength of alumni networks, percentage of graduates in leadership or entrepreneurial roles, and gender parity.

Beyond top 20, other Indian institutions also feature: IIM Lucknow at #21, IIM Indore at #36, and IIFT at #50. ISB’s Dean notes that the one-year Post Graduate Programme (PGP) and its large global alumni network play key roles in equipping grads for dynamic career trajectories.
