Delhi witnessed a strong cleanliness push as NDMC carried out a coordinated multi-department drive across several important residential and commercial circles on 8 December 2025. Teams from Sanitation, Horticulture, and Civil Engineering Departments worked together to deliver fast and visible improvement in each area.
The drive covered multiple locations including Kaka Nagar, West Kidwai Nagar, New Moti Bagh’s service road, Bharti Nagar, Connaught Place’s M & N Block, Tolstoy Marg, and Blocks 1 to 9 of the Central Government Employees Residential Colony at BKS Marg.
Under the leadership of Sh. Keshav Chandra, IAS, Chairperson NDMC, focused steps were taken to reduce dust pollution and raise overall cleanliness levels. In Bharti Nagar, the Sanitation Department conducted a dedicated dust-control drive, which resulted in cleaner roads, reduced dust and a visibly fresher environment.
At the same time, Kaka Nagar continued its 4th day of intensive cleanliness and greenery maintenance. Teams cleaned internal lanes, cleared footpaths, refreshed green patches, and improved public spaces, giving the colony a cleaner and greener appearance.
This coordinated effort shows how planned, time-bound action by multiple departments can bring meaningful and immediate change to the city. NDMC’s initiative is not just a drive, it’s a step toward healthier and more citizen-friendly neighborhoods.
