Kaka Nagar residents woke up to a refreshing change as NDMC carried out a special cleanliness and greenery drive in the entire residential colony. The goal was simple but powerful... clean lanes, greener surroundings, and a visibly improved environment that people could instantly feel.
Teams from Sanitation, Horticulture, and Civil Departments worked together on the ground, ensuring not just spotless streets but also well-maintained parks, trimmed greenery, and improved public spaces. From sweeping internal lanes to clearing dust pockets and refreshing green patches, the drive gave the area a vibrant and lively appearance.
The initiative is being carried out under the able leadership of Sh. Keshav Chandra, IAS, Chairperson NDMC, whose focus remains on creating cleaner, healthier, and more citizen-friendly urban spaces across New Delhi.
This special drive will continue till 15th December 2025, ensuring consistency rather than one-day action. Senior officers, including Sh. Rajiv Kumar Jain, Advisor (SWM) NDMC, were also present, supervising and encouraging teams on-site.
With multiple departments working in coordination, the effort reflects NDMC’s commitment to not only cleanliness, but also sustainable greenery and better public infrastructure, making Kaka Nagar a model for well-kept residential colonies in the capital.
