Born on March 22, 2000, in Hyderabad, India, Naina Jaiswal is not just a table tennis prodigy but also a remarkable academic achiever, embodying the essence of a true child prodigy. Her journey is a testament to extraordinary talent and relentless dedication.
Naina's academic milestones are nothing short of astounding. She completed her 10th-grade examinations at the tender age of 8, a time when most children are in primary school. By 10, she had finished her intermediate studies. At 13, she graduated from St. Mary's College with a bachelor's degree in mass communication and journalism. By 15, she had earned her postgraduate degree from Osmania University, making her one of Asia's youngest postgraduates. At 17, she began her PhD studies, becoming India's youngest female PhD holder.
In parallel with her academic pursuits, Naina has made significant strides in table tennis. She was the first Indian girl selected for the ITTF World Hopes Team in 2011 and secured the sixth position globally in the under-12 category the same year. She has clinched multiple national and international titles, including gold medals in team events at the Indian Open and the Fajr Cup in Iran.
Beyond academics and sports, Naina is also a motivational speaker and a pianist, showcasing her multifaceted talents. Her story is a powerful reminder that with passion and perseverance, one can excel in diverse fields, breaking age and gender stereotypes along the way.
