Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, currently promoting his upcoming film Sikandar, spoke candidly about nepotism, self-made stars, and new industry talent at a press event in Mumbai.
When asked about being a self-made actor, Salman dismissed the idea, saying, “Nobody is self-made. It's all teamwork. Had my father not moved to Mumbai, I would have been farming in Indore.”
He also took a lighthearted dig at Kangana Ranaut, mishearing a journalist's mention of Raveena Tandon's daughter. Salman quipped, “Kangana ki beti aa rahi hain?” before joking about whether she would join films or politics.
Promoting Sikandar, which releases on May 30 (Eid), Salman encouraged fans to watch it alongside Mohanlal's L2: Empuraan and Sunny Deol's Jaat. Starring Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, and Sathyaraj, Sikandar promises to be a festive blockbuster.
