Nita Ambani gives Aakash long, hard look as MI '6th title' prediction goes wrong

Mumbai Indians were eliminated from IPL 2025 in a crushing defeat against a blazing Punjab Kings led by Shreyas Iyer, who powered his team into the finals with a brutal 87 not out off 41 balls. The five-time champions have now endured five seasons without a title, equaling their longest drought.

In a dramatic evening at Ahmedabad, Nita Ambani’s disappointed reaction to the unraveling performance was caught on camera. Sitting beside her son Akash, she looked visibly distressed as MI bowlers failed to defend 204 runs, a first in team history.

Earlier, Ambani was seen holding up six fingers, predicting MI’s sixth trophy, a dream shattered by Punjab’s record-breaking chase. A dropped catch by Trent Boult and misfields only worsened MI’s fate.

While MI exit in heartbreak, Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Punjab Kings now chase their maiden IPL crown in what promises to be a historic final.
