Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday inaugurated the Sri Sri Radha Madanmohanji Temple of ISKCON in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, and also commissioned three advanced naval combatants. Speaking to devotees after praying, PM Modi emphasized the international message that India has for peace and healing. He said, "I have always said Heal in India."

He was addressing the gathering before meeting MLAs from the Mahayuti ruling alliance over luncheon at the INS Angre auditorium in Mumbai earlier in the day. The event was attended by all key leaders and included Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, members of legislative assembly from the BJP, NCP, Shiv Sena, and other allied parties.

Later, he commissioned three frontline naval combatants—INS Surat, INS Nilgiri, and INS Vaghsheer—at the Mumbai dock, emphasizing the aspirations of India to become a maritime power. He stressed territorial waters security, freedom of navigation, and trade routes security, further reiterating India's commitment to an open and inclusive Indo-Pacific region.

INS Nilgiri is a Project 17A stealth frigate, designed by the Indian Navy's Warship Design Bureau and constructed by Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited. This vessel boasts the most advanced stealth technology with low radar signatures. INS Surat is the last vessel in the class of Project 15B stealth destroyers.

The improved design and capabilities further enhance the surface fleet of the Navy. INS Vaghsheer is the sixth and final Scorpene-class diesel-electric submarine under Project 75. It is armed for anti-surface and anti-submarine warfare, as well as intelligence operations. These additions reflect India's growing naval capabilities and dedication to regional stability, signaling a major leap forward in defense and maritime security.
