This unique event will take place at the Mother Teresa Crown Complex in the heart of Rashtrapati Bhavan.

While official details are still pending, reports suggest that the wedding will be an intimate affair, attended by close family and friends, all of whom will undergo strict security checks before entering.

So, who's the lucky person getting married at such a prestigious venue? It's none other than Poonam Gupta, a brave and accomplished CRPF officer. Poonam, currently posted as a Personal Security Officer (PSO) at Rashtrapati Bhavan, will marry Avneesh Kumar, another CRPF officer stationed in Jammu and Kashmir. This momentous occasion is set to take place on February 12.

Poonam Gupta is no ordinary officer. She made history by leading the all-women contingent of the CRPF at the 74th Republic Day Parade, showcasing her leadership and dedication. With a remarkable educational background and a history of serving in tough regions like Naxal-affected areas of Bihar, Poonam has proven her resilience. Her inspiring journey was further highlighted when she secured an impressive 81st rank in the UPSC CAPF exam in 2018.
