The romantic drama Sanam Teri Kasam (2016), starring Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane, has made history! After its theatrical re-release, the film has earned ₹50 crore, making it the highest-earning re-released Indian film ever.

When the movie first hit theaters in 2016, it had a modest box office collection and received mixed reviews. However, over the years, it became popular through streaming platforms and TV broadcasts. Fans loved the emotional love story, and demand for a re-release grew. On February 7, 2025, the film returned to cinemas and the response was massive!

On its first day, the re-release collected ₹4.25 crore, which was three times more than its original opening day earnings. On the second day, it earned another ₹5.25 crore, surpassing its total earnings from 2016 in just two days! Now, with total collections crossing ₹50 crore, the film has broken records, even surpassing Tumbbad’s re-release earnings of ₹32 crore.

Actor Harshvardhan Rane was surprised by the success, saying, "I hope it does what it didn’t do earlier." Fans of the film have turned this second chance into a huge box office victory!

This success proves that movies can become more popular over time, and re-releases can bring new life to old films. "Sanam Teri Kasam" has set a new benchmark in Bollywood, showing that true love stories never fade!
