During a marathon debate on the 'Vision Document 2047' in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly, Samajwadi Party MLA Pooja Pal delivered a deeply personal and heartfelt tribute to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Pal, whose husband Raju Pal was murdered in 2005 by gangster-politician Atiq Ahmed, said, “Once I grew weary of fighting, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave me justice.” She praised his zero-tolerance crime policy, stating that it ensured Atiq Ahmed, “my husband’s killer,” was ultimately eliminated—reflecting that justice had been delivered to many women like her in Prayagraj.

Pooja Pal also emphasized her long struggle and isolation, saying no one had seen her tears or stood by her for years until the CM took firm action. She added that today, not just Prayagraj but all of Uttar Pradesh places its trust in Yogi Adityanath, believing that any criminal who harms a mother, sister, or brother will face stringent consequences.
