Netradyne, a leading AI-based logistics company, has achieved a significant milestone by becoming India's first unicorn of 2025. The startup secured $90 million in its Series D funding round, led by Point72 Private Investments, elevating its valuation to $1.34 billion.
Founded in 2015 by Stanford PhD graduates Avneesh Agrawal and David Julian, Netradyne operates from Bengaluru and California. To date, it has raised $317 million from prominent investors, including SoftBank and Qualcomm. In 2024, its revenue reached $210 million, a 65% increase from the previous year.
The company's flagship product, Driver.i, leverages AI to enhance road safety. It monitors driver behavior, detecting distractions like drowsiness or phone use, and issues audio alerts to refocus attention.
Serving over 3,000 clients globally, including Nestle and Hindustan Unilever in India, Netradyne's solutions reduce accidents by 30-50%. Its systems analyze 700 million miles monthly across nations like the US, UK, and India, with plans to expand to Japan and Ireland.
Agrawal, formerly with Qualcomm, emphasized that the new funding will advance their generative AI efforts, targeting safer driving conditions, particularly in India. With road accidents claiming 1.8 lakh lives in India in 2024, Netradyne's impact is vital.
The company aims for 50% revenue growth and profitability by 2025, potentially followed by an IPO. As India's 119th unicorn, Netradyne stands alongside deeptech peers like Krutrim and 5ire, revolutionizing fleet safety worldwide.
