Have you heard of the manosphere? It's a part of the internet where some influencers give advice to young men about fitness, dating, money, and life. Sounds helpful, right? But there's a problem- they also spread hate, especially against women.
In India too, many Gen Z boys spend a lot of time on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. They search for tips on how to build confidence, talk to girls, or earn money.
But instead of good advice, they often end up watching angry videos that blame women and feminism for everything. It's like searching "how to be confident" and finding a guy shouting "women are the problem!"
These influencers know how to trick the algorithm. They use catchy titles, emotional language, and shocking content to get views. In one study, boys saw 4x more hateful content in just 5 days.
But here's the good news: many young men don't want this. They want real support, honest advice, and healthy role models. The internet can still be a good place, we just need better voices.
