Navratri is a vibrant festival that celebrates the nine forms of Goddess Durga, also known as Adishakti. Each day of this festival is dedicated to a specific manifestation of the Goddess, with unique rituals and offerings. One of the key aspects of this celebration is the offering of flowers to honor each Goddess.
On the first day, Goddess Shailputri is worshipped with the red Hibiscus, symbolizing strength and love. Goddess Brahmacharini, known for her patience, is honored with the white Chrysanthemum. The Lotus represents Goddess Chandragantha's purity, while Jasmine is offered to Goddess Kushmanda for her creative energy.
As the festival progresses, Rose is offered to Goddess Skandmata, representing maternal devotion. Goddess Katyayani, a warrior goddess, is worshipped with the vibrant Marigold. Goddess Kaalratri is honored with Passionflower, representing power over darkness, while Mogra is offered to Goddess Mahagauri for her purity.
Finally, Goddess Siddhihatri is worshipped with the Champa flower, symbolizing perfection. This Navratri, immerse yourself in devotion by offering these sacred flowers to connect spiritually with each divine manifestation.
